The team here at Casted has been working on our security programs since we launched in 2019, and during 2022, we have taken further steps to build processes, procedures, and controls to ensure we have best-in-class security and risk mitigation. And now, we’re excited to share that Casted is SOC II accredited, and we have received our SOC II Type 1 Certification.
What is SOC II you may ask yourself? SOC II is an industry standard used to assess a company’s security profile, including the controls it has in place to prevent intrusion and identify and manage security risks. Enterprises rely on software to deliver value to their customers, but each new product introduces risk to their organization. Our SOC II compliance mitigates these risks to our customers and their teams with added security in the Casted Platform. Brands like IBM, Salesforce, and Auth0 trust Casted with some of their most valuable assets: their content.
As we continue to grow and enable brands to better manage, distribute, amplify, and strategize with their podcast and video content, we will keep the security of our customers top of mind. Casted will be audited by a third party once again in Spring 2023 for our SOC II Type 2 certification.
