Yeah, all that face-to-face went away when the pandemic hit. But events themselves didn’t end. They evolved into virtual semi-live, often pre-recorded conventions. In place of face time, it’s the actual content created for these meetups that’s become the most valuable component.

Engaging a finance-focused audience requires solid informational and thought leadership content, but armed with an amplified marketing platform, Planful went a step further and created an entertaining experience that showcased their expertise to their growing audience of satisfied customers as well as potential leads.
Being able to efficiently create a lot of promotional content in one place in a short time allowed Planful to fully plan and manage post-event campaigns. Plus all the content they’d created for the event was top-notch and now served as a powerful tool in the hands of the sales team.
We’ve all had to learn how to be more flexible in the past couple years, and Rowan and Vicky share the lessons they’ve learned during the Great In-Person-to-Virtual Event Pivot. The most important part of events now is the actual content, which includes finding the right experts to talk about certain topics and leveraging a technology solution that can handle all that content quickly. Planful also followed an American Idol model to make the event and all its content entertaining and engaging, despite not being in-person.
An all-in-one platform boasts so many advantages, and as Planful discovered, not only were they able to store everything in one place where it was accessible by all, but they could easily create new promotional materials for a variety of channels — and they were able to do it much quicker than before.
